IBC totes, drums, crates, gaylords and reels

Alongside pallets we supply and collect the other reusable containers that move through a warehouse. Tell us the item, the quantity and the date you need it, and we will confirm what we can supply and what lead time it carries. We would rather give you a date we can hold than a yes we cannot.

Where we deliver — and where we collect

Albemarle, Louisa, Orange, Fluvanna, Greene, Nelson, Culpeper, Madison, Goochland, Hanover, Augusta and western Henrico counties. Runs are scheduled by route rather than on fixed days, which normally means within the week.

This works in both directions, and that is the part worth knowing. If you have totes, drums, crates, gaylords or reels taking up space, we collect them on the same runs: what is worth reusing we buy, and the rest we take away at no charge. For sites that generate these continuously, a standing collection keeps the yard clear without anyone having to think about it. Details on the pickup page.

What we carry

IBC totes

Caged intermediate bulk containers, typically 275 and 330 gallon, on steel or composite bases with a bottom discharge valve. Used and new.

Plastic drums, 55 gallon

Closed-head for liquids, open-top for waste, parts and general storage. Open-tops are the more versatile of the two and move fastest.

Steel drums, 55 gallon

Closed-head and open-top, for heavier and industrial duty where a plastic drum will not take the handling.

Gaylord boxes

Bulk corrugated bins on a 48x40 footprint, in double, triple and quad wall, with or without lids. Used heavily in recycling, bulk handling and returns processing. Demand has been strong, so ask early if you need a run of them.

Wooden crates

Assorted sizes, mostly one-way industrial packaging recovered on pickups. We also build crates new to a dimension you specify.

Cable reels

Wooden and composite reels in the sizes utility and telecom work produces. Bought by contractors for cable and by makers for furniture and display.

Wooden cable reels in a range of sizes, stacked and ready for reuse.

Recovered, reconditioned, or new

Most of what we carry is recovered stock: collected on our own runs, checked over, and put back into service. That is what keeps it affordable and out of landfill, and for the majority of jobs it is the right answer.

When it is not, we sell new. If you need a guaranteed specification, consistent appearance, a certification, or simply more units than the recovered market can supply that month, say so and we will price new alongside used. You are not choosing between our stock and going elsewhere.

Food-grade totes: the honest answer

A used tote's suitability depends entirely on what it held before, so we do not represent used totes as food-grade. Treat used totes as suitable for non-potable water, industrial fluids and general site storage.

If you need a container for anything touching food, feed or drinking water, we will sell you a new one rather than a used one with a story attached. That is the honest answer, and we would rather give it than sell you the wrong thing.
