Blue Ridge Shipping Solutions supplies recycled, reconditioned and new pallets across twelve Central Virginia counties — standard 48x40 GMA, the less common footprints, and custom sizes built to your dimension. We draw on our own stock and a network of regional supply partners across Central Virginia, so what we can put together isn't limited to what happens to be sitting in one place on a given day.
No minimum order. One pallet or a full truckload.
Recycled pallet grades
Grades describe the condition of a used pallet. They don't apply to new stock, which is built to a specification rather than sorted to one.
Grade A (#1)
Structurally sound pallets with no plugged stringers, no missing deckboards and either no prior repairs or repairs made with full-length boards. Clean, dry and square, which is the grade to use when the load leaves your building and a customer sees it.
Grade B (#2)
Sound pallets that have been repaired: a replaced deckboard, a plugged stringer or a companion block. Fully serviceable for in-plant handling, floor loading and one-way shipments where appearance matters less than strength.
Cores
Used pallets sold as they come off the truck, before sorting or repair. Mixed condition and mixed sizes, moved in volume, and normally bought by recyclers and repair shops rather than by shippers.

The North American standard and what we carry in the most depth, in both Grade A and Grade B.
Other common footprints
42x42, 48x48, 44x44, 36x36 and 48x45 come through regularly on pickups and from our supply partners. Availability moves week to week, so it is worth asking.
Custom and odd sizes
Tell us the footprint and the quantity and we'll tell you what we can put together — sorted from stock where it exists, built new to your dimension where it doesn't.
Construction
Stringer pallets
The familiar three-runner build, entered from two sides by a pallet jack and four by a forklift. Most 48x40 GMA stock is stringer-built.
Block pallets
Built on nine blocks instead of runners, including CP and Euro-style footprints. True four-way entry and stronger under racking, normally sourced to order rather than held in depth.
New and heavy-duty pallets
Where recycled stock won't do the job, we supply new pallets built to your specification — your footprint, your deck configuration, and heavier construction for machinery, castings and repeat-trip loads. Tell us the load weight and how the pallet will be handled and we'll spec it with you.
Heat-treated (ISPM-15) pallets available.
Quantities and delivery
No minimum order. Most suppliers in this trade want a truckload before they will move. We don't set a floor at all — a single pallet or a full load, whichever matches what you can actually store. Plenty of our customers take a smaller drop every week or two rather than warehousing a truckload they have no room for, and that suits us perfectly well.
Delivery. We deliver across Albemarle, Louisa, Orange, Fluvanna, Greene, Nelson, Culpeper, Madison, Goochland, Hanover, Augusta and western Henrico counties. Runs are scheduled by route rather than on fixed days, which normally means delivery within the week. Pickups and deliveries ride the same run wherever the route allows, so if you have surplus pallets going out, mention it when you request a quote.
