Pallets in Goochland, Short Pump, Glen Allen and Ashland
Richmond's western edge is the far end of our service area and the one we are most careful about promising on. Goochland is roughly thirty-five miles out for us down the I-64 corridor; Short Pump, Glen Allen and Ashland run from there out to about fifty. We work this direction regularly, but on scheduled runs rather than on demand — and we would rather tell you that now than miss a date later.
How we serve Richmond west
The I-64 corridor through Zion Crossroads and Goochland is a road we are on often, which is what makes this end of the area workable at all. Deliveries and pickups here are planned into those runs. For a standing order or a recurring pickup that works well and becomes predictable. For an urgent one-off at the far end, we will give you a real date or tell you we are not the right call that week.
You have good options out here — this is the part of Virginia with the most established pallet operations. What we offer instead of scale is flexibility on quantity and a single point of contact who answers the phone.
What we supply
Recycled 48x40 GMA pallets in Grade A and Grade B, other common footprints and custom sizes. New pallets are a regular part of what we deliver to Goochland, Short Pump and Ashland, built to your dimension and running on the same schedule as recycled stock. Heat-treated (ISPM-15) pallets available. A partial load or a full truckload. The grades and sizes are here, and we also carry IBC totes, drums, crates and reels.
Pickups on the west side
We collect surplus, used and damaged pallets free of charge, and where the volume is large and the stock reusable we will buy it. Distance makes load size matter here: a full load justifies the run on its own, a small mixed pile usually needs to wait for a trip going that way. Send a photo and a rough count and we will tell you which it is. Pickup terms are here.
Areas we cover
Goochland County, Short Pump, Glen Allen, Ashland, Manakin-Sabot, Rockville, Oilville and western Henrico along the I-64 and Route 250 corridors.
Questions we get from Richmond west customers
How far out are you?
Goochland is about thirty-five miles out. Short Pump is around forty-five and Glen Allen and Ashland closer to fifty.
Can you match a Richmond supplier on lead time?
Not always, and we will say so. A yard inside Richmond can beat us on a same-day urgent order. Where we do well is quantity flexibility, combined delivery and pickup on one visit, and dealing with the same person each time.
Do you deliver to Ashland?
Yes, on scheduled runs. Ashland is at the outer edge of the area, so it works best as a standing arrangement rather than as an occasional urgent drop.
Will you collect pallets from Short Pump or Glen Allen?
Yes, with the same caveat about load size. A worthwhile load is straightforward; a handful of broken pallets on its own is a trip that does not justify itself, and we will be honest about that rather than quietly not turning up.
